Home at Last!

Whew! Where to start? No posts in eighteen days! I'm not up to a long post tonight, but let me just say that I had an amazing time in Mexico! God worked in incredible ways and we were all challenged to grow closer to Him. I met some wonderful people and was stretched way beyond my comfort zone. I did get chewed out at the border for not having my passport, and for a few minutes I wasn't sure if I'd ever make it home, but I finally got off with just a warning. Thank you to all who prayed for our team! I promise I will put up a longer post later, once I figure out how to add pictures off of a friend's CD. Adios until then!

That's right! I (Amy) leave for Mexico in just three days! Obviously, I will not be posting while I'm gone, but maybe Julie will fill in the gap. Maybe ;-). Anyway, I will try to post a nice long trip summary when I get back in a couple of weeks. Thanks to all who are praying. Please continue to pray for safety and health. Also, pray that our team will be united under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, and that we will seek to serve each other before ourselves. Most of all, pray that God will be glorified in our thoughts, words, and actions. Thanks again! Hasta luego!

I (Amy) leave for Mexico in nine days! I can hardly believe it! I have a huge prayer request, though. There was an issue with my passport application, so I have not yet received my passport. Please pray that it will arrive in time! Also, please pray for strength and wisdom as I strive to prepare for this trip spiritually (by relying on God and listening to His guidance), physically (by exercising my muscles to be ready for construction work and soccer games :-), emotionally (by striving to be sensitive to other's needs and in control of my own thoughts and words), and mentally (by brushing up on those Spanish skills ;-). I appreciate your prayers!
